January 1st? Today quite possibly is the first day of the rest of your life. So start it off well.

1. Exercise or start a new activity
It doesn’t need to be draining and feel like work. Social activities such as yoga and walking clubs can be a great way to increase physical activity whilst meeting people and widening circles.
2. Eat more fresh food
Introduce a new fruit or vegetable every few weeks and actively find tasty ways to create new dishes.
3. Participate in cognitive health activities
Keep your mind engaged and stimulated with a book club, brain games and trivia. Or pick up a new skill and learn a new language!
4. Schedule regular check ups
Help in early detection and prevention by booking regular check ups and being mindful of any irregularities.
Unfortunately with age comes an increased risk of illness – so keep on top and ahead of it.
